 Anastasia Volochkova
Bolshoi Ballet
Anastasia Volochkova (born in St.Petersburg 1976) graduated from
Vaganova Academy in 1994 with the Diploma of Honour. For the next four
years she was a member of the Kirov Ballet. In 1998 Anastasia Volochkova
joined the Boshoi Ballet, where she dances the Swan Princess in Vasiliev's
Swan Lake, Nikia in la Bayadere, Lilac Fairy in The Sleeping
Beauty and a number of roles in contemporary ballets. She is a
laureate of the Second International Serge Lifar Competition (Kiev, 1996).
