 Aki Nakata
Independant Artist
Graduated from Osaka University of Arts, Bachelor of Arts
in Theater Arts, in 1993, Ms. Nakata received her ballet training
at the Azumi Ballet School and has performed with the Masako
Ohya Ballet Company since 1988.
Aki Nakata was awarded third prize in 1990 at the Sixth Masako
Ohya World Ballet Competition in Osaka, silver prize in 1992
at the Fifteenth International Ballet Competition in Varna, gold
prize in 1993 at the Concors International de Danse in Luxembourg,
third prize in 1994 at the International Ballet Competition in
Memory of Rudolf Nureyev in Budapest, and silver prize in 1995
at the First Kwangju International Ballet Competition.
