Ina Dorafeyeva

Donetsk Ballet of Ukraine

Ina Dorofeyeva was born in 1965 in the town of Chuguyev, Ukraine. In 1972, she entered the Children's Choreographic School where she began her formal dance training. In 1979 she was awarded a scholarship to study under Mrs. May at the Kiev State Choreographic School where she met her future husband and partner, Vadim Pisarev, with whom she has danced at the Donetsk Ballet as a solist and toured the world.

She won first prize in the Ukrainian Ballet Competition, and dances a wide and varied repertoire including most classical ballets and many contemporary works such as Bivocalityn by Boris Eifman (to music by Pink Floyd).
